INSPIRATION
In the heart of America’s most populated city, lies 36 acres of dense, green forest. Inside, you’ll find meandering trails, beautiful forest gardens an astounding array of wildlife.
Known as “The Ramble,” this enclave within Central Park is one of the countless magical things about New York City. Less than half a mile’s walk from the urban buzz of one of the most sophisticated and cosmopolitan cities in the world, lies wilderness for anyone who is looking. The planners of Central Park knew that despite all the appeal that comes from human progress, the people of New York would forever crave the raw wonder that comes with nature.
This perfect union of societal sophistication and natural beauty was the inspiration behind our latest fragrance, Ramble. Our most complex and polished fragrance ever released, Ramble features a number of natural fragrance ingredients that combine to create something truly unique.
Ramble opens with the warm and inviting notes of Balsam Fir needles that intermingle with the earthy and mossy notes of Oakmoss and Bamboo leaf to create an accord that evokes the smell of a lush forest. The exotic fragrance of Elemi is interwoven through the scent, with notes of Pepper, Spice, and Lemon to add complexity and freshness.
This fragrance is created with a number of ingredients from the Naturals Together program, a sustainability-driven partnership with the people and regions from whom and from which we source our ingredients.

ABOUT THE PERFUMER
Clement Gavarry
For Clement Gavarry, perfumery was his birthright: he is the fourth generation to live a life steeped in fragrance creation. At fifteen, Clement began annual fragrance-related summer internships enjoying "being a detective finding clues and analyzing ingredients" in the field of chromatography - his specialty at university. An early work experience in New York brought an epiphany: he should become a perfumer. He entered ISIPCA, the school of Perfumery in Versailles, graduating with a Master's Degree and a Diploma in Organic Chemistry.
Clement thinks of his creations as "a balance of heart and mind." He is a perfectionist who prefers to focus intently on a project, often finding it hard to "let go" and finish his fragrances. "I love to truly get to know my formula. Only then can I find the best balance."
